Worker health and safety is our most important workplace consideration. We strive to provide a safe and supportive work environment that has eliminated potential risks to all employees, contractors and subcontractors. We provide ongoing health & safety training to all of our workers and undertake regular spot audits to ensure compliance to international standards. All of our employees, contractors and subcontractors have medical services at our on-site operations.

Safety is the most important consideration for all stakeholders at Bisha. Our long-term goal is to operate injury fee and we are proud of the strong safety culture at our operations.

Various metrics are used to measure and track safety practices. We classify reported injuries as return-to-work incidents, lost-time injuries (LTI's) or fatalities, and record all reported incidents for both employees and contractors. Our health and safety department head oversees safety inductions, injury monitoring, and long-term safety planning. Our motto at Bisha is "Everyone going home safe and healthy every day."
As of December 31, 2016, Bisha had a total of 651 days (12.8 million hours) without a lost time injury.
